Mari did not know what to make of this woman.

She knew that this Tara was more than just a contact. Her movements had a distinct subtle strait that indicated some sort of higher training. It was far from mundane, that was for certain.

Though, she was quite surprised at her knowledge of the Assini Cipher. She didn't simply decrypt it, she read it.

That had to be it then. This Tara had to have been a former Assini or had close ties to one.

Mari was shook from her thoughts by a distant rumbling. She turned to the direction it had came from and saw a pillar of smoke rising past the rows of buildings.

She gripped her fingers into a taut fist when she realized it also came from in the same area as the safe house.

A loud buzzing noise caught her attention. Mari reached into her breast pocket while Tara did something similar.

"I assume we've been compromised?/Hey partner, got something for me about a pillar of smoke in the Southern District?"

The two paused and turned to one another slowly.

"Lemme guess?" Tara sighed. "Shit hit the fan?"
