The Show of Recruits
A large amphitheater had been set up in a area near the dorms. The reason for it's set up would be foreign at first to second years, and first years would never see it. Nicholas was sitting in a small folding chair that had been set out for the proceedings. He watches as the screen was set out and after a while Alex stepped out to address the crowd that had gathered around.
The noises of the crowd were that of wonderment and anticipation. This was Nicholas's favorite part of the year now that he was a senior at Terminal. Alex finished the set up and turned his attention to the crowd. "Alright. You've all gathered here for one reason, and it's time for the show to begin!" He clapped his hands as a signal for the feed to come on screen. A live feed from Kana Island itself, showing the test and the students involved in it. Nicholas smiled as he watched the people on screen. His power allowed him certain.....advantages over being able to watch the other students participate in the test.
He could see their fighting before he had to fight them. It was the perfect accommodation. The person that caught his interest the most however was a young boy named Hibiki. He watched as Hibiki fought the creature known as a Shadow Stalker and frowned slightly as he saw the fight's conclusion. "I would think someone with the same power as her would be stronger.....I guess he just needs practice." Nicholas sat and watched some of the other students but none seemed to capture his interest. As the day at the island drew to a close, he got out and walked away.
"This year is going to be interesting...."
