Rules for Events
THESE RULES APPLY TO ANY AND ALL EVENTS!!!
Do not say you were unknown to these rules, as any mod or admin will send you here.
Rule 1: The host of the event is held responsible for notifying everyone about the event going inactive, along with a justifiable reason as to the event going inactive.
Rule 2: If an event has gone inactive with notification, it is the host's responsibility to get ahold of staff to let them know the duration of inactivity.
Rule 3: If an event has gone inactive without notification, the event is given two weeks to become active again.
Rule 4: If an event has been inactive for two weeks, a vote shall be cast by the staff on whether or not to delete the event.
Event Inactivity:
If an event is inactive for two weeks at a minimum, the administrators will discuss what shall be done about the continuing of said event. The input of moderators shall be requested, however is not mandatory. Once it is discussed, it shall be brought to the attention of the event's coordinator (the person who made and is in charge of said event).
The event can either be put on hold or discontinued entirely. An event may only be put on hold if:
- A sudden occurance has happened so that the coordinator cannot run the event for a period of time.
- One of more of the participants becomes able to be a part of the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
- The rules of the event are questioned by multiple parties and may need to be rewritten.
- A complaint is made concerning how it is being run.
If one of these issues, or a similar one, is the reason for the event's inactivity, a sufficient amount of time will be alloted so that the issue may be resolved. In the case of the forner two issues, a time will be set for the affected parties' return, at which time the event shall continue. For the latter two issues, the admins shall allow the coordinator an appropriate period of time in which to fix the issue, with the admins' or mods' help if asked or necessary. If the issue is not resolved after said time has passed, the event shall be discontinued.
If the event cannot be put on hold for whatever reason, it shall be discontinued due to inactivity. A one week extension to remind people of the event and drum up interest once more may be given if evidence is presented that interest still remains, and the coordinator promises to keep the event more active. If the week ends before the event returns to normal, it shall be discontinued.
(Rules are subject to change without notification, so make sure to check back frequently)
