Tales of Yggdra: The Roleplay! (Sign-ups and information)

Yggdra is a land that lives on the energy source of all life, Mana. 10,000 years ago, the Elves came to this dry ball of earth and planted the Great Seed. With the birth of the Summon Spirits and the World Tree, Yggdrasil, came an almost limitless supply of Mana. However, with a resource as valuable as this, conflict was inevitable.

The Ancient War between Higard and Aiseria was the first of such conflicts. The two nations battled it out to usurp control over Yggdrasil. On each side stood a terrifyingly powerful creation. On Higard's side, the Manna Cannon. On Aiseria stood the Swordians. With these powerful weapons staring down each side, the world would have surely been destroyed had it not been for the Summoner Yulia. She formed a pact with every Summon Spirit, including Martel, who she asked to watch over the Giant Tree. With this, the Church of Martel was founded with Martel lauded as a Goddess of the land. This, was over 4000 years ago.

There was, however, one Summon Spirit who was not happy with this arrangement. Ratatosk, the Lord of Monsters decreed humanity to be unworthy of the tree and 10 years ago sent his armies of monster to destroy the land. The Emperor of Aiseria at the time helped unify the leaders of the land and with the help of the legendary Trinity Blades, first forged by Yulia to help stop the Ancient War, Ratatosk was sealed away into the demonic realm, with it being taught he was a demon lord and deserved to be sealed away.

Even then was not the end of the conflicts to plague Yggdra. 2 years ago, the Papal Faction and the High Priestess faction of the Church of Martel came to blows. Thanks to the Chosen of Mana and her Bodyguard, this conflict ceased. However, the Church is now a shell of it's former power.

Today the world is split up into the six nations of Vanaheim, Barbatos, Kalor, Higard, Fyordia and the Aiserian Empire with the independent island of Yggdra standing in the center. The nations of the world stand silently in fear, for they can feel a lingering darkness drawing ever closer that soon they feel no one can stop...or can they?

Personality/Mannerisms: Kind,thoughtful,would go in his way to help others in need, strong belief in justice and proud of his lineage as a half elf despite the descrimination.

Bio: Childhood:Ky was born in the elven village of Heimdall at that time humans and half-elves alike were not welcomed in the village, his father's whereabouts are unknown to the villagers.When he was 2 years old he was discovered and banished along with his elven mother from the village thus living most of his childhood as a traveller where he experienced the prejudices held against the Half elf making him despise the Humans and himself for being borned "half-blooded".

Adolesence:10 years after being banished from Heimdall ,Ky and his mother settled in Vanaheim where he attended the Albane Sword School with the hopes of becoming a great swordsman. Although his life was getting better, he still resents the fact that its due to his half blood his mother was exiled even though he tries to reject the fact. A few years later he found out from his mother that his father was still alive and was secretly paying for his upkeep, this made Ky realise that there is hope that one day elves and humans can coexist in peace. With that in mind Ky decided to travel the world after completing his training, in hopes of finding a way to have everyone rid of their hatred towards his race.

Bio: Nauriel was born in the land of the elves. However, she was very different to them all. They preferred to ignore and be ignored by the other lands and wanted nothing to do with any one that wasn't born a full blooded elf. Nauriel had always had a strong connection to the fire and water elements. Having a curious nature, she often tried to learn about the outside world and many elves looked down on her for that. This set her apart with her family and they soon abandoned her in claims that she was a stain on their name.

Travelling around after that, her curious nature was also unheard of in the elven race and so she travelled where ever the spirits guided her. Undine and Efreet had both offered her a pact and she accepted. Who was she to turn them down? Unlike most who were thrown out of their hometown, Nauriel doesn't yern to fit in any where. She's a free spirit so to speak and loves to discover nedw people and places.

Abyssal Blast (3 Second charge. Fires a Burst of Dark Mana from hand inflicting Dark Mana Damage. Lower the health, more damage dealt. Max 15% Health.)

Mystic Arte:
Wrath of the Abyss (Tiraz is surrounded by Dark Mana as eyes turn pure black. First he delivers a powerful uppercut to them from below, hurling the enemy upwards. Then he appears above them and smashes down with both first sending enemy to ground at high speeds. From below Tiraz forms again, this time with Garuru and a large demonic sword, and leaps at the opponent, knocking them around and slicing them several times in mid air with the blades in rapid fashion, as he flickers between each movement around the enemy. After this is done, Tiraz smashes the enemy to ground with the flat side of both blades, before hurling them down at the body to pin them to ground. Finally a large condensed orb of Dark Mana forms in Tiraz's right palm, that Tiraz fires down upon the fallen body, causing an extreme explosion to decimate anything that might remain of the enemy. Afterwards Tiraz lands back down as his body and his eyes turn to normal.)

Those were once the words I would hear constantly. A time where people looked upon me and my brethren with hopes and joy, as we kept them safe and guarded from the dangers of the world. A time where being a knight actually meant doing the right thing and protecting others.

Where did such times go I wonder?

"Stop!!"

A armored figure ran through the forest at high speeds, ignoring the brushes and trees in its' wake, as several armored knights chased after in haste.

"You can't escape from us!! Surrender now and you might just be spared!!"

The figure in front simply tilted its' head calmly before jumping off into the shadows once more.

"Dammit! Find him! Don't let him escape!!'

As the knights moved through the forest in search, they didn't notice figure from before watching silently from above in one of the tree branches. After a moment of watching its' pursuers race off, the figure sighed and leaned back against a tree.

"They just don't give up do they?" The figure spoke to itself, sighing as it leaned back against the tree, "Guess I'll stay up here for a while. Just to be safe."

The moonlight above shines down through the clouds, revealing a very tired and saddened face of a young man.

"How much longer must this go on?"

The man sighed and closed his eyes, trying to get some rest while he could.
