Standing in the dark
With only the vision of my pain
Soaking me like a torrent of rain
I hear them calling.

Alone is my sorrows
I seek the guidance I should have found
My heart, shatters on the ground
As I hear it falling.

Never before have I felt such a darkness
It surrounds me
Begging for me to see,
It has been my only love.

Hearing the whispers
I listen carefully
As they promise to set me free
But I must rise above.

Above all the torture
Above all the pain
I must allow the light in,
Forever must it reign.
