The Lyrics:

Verse 1 Breakdown
Verse 1 is speaking about how even though the band itself is famous and can pretty much get the things they need none of that really matters. Everyone seems to just stay because they're successful and that no one really looks at them the same as they used to because of that. Even though that's pretty much what happens when one becomes famous as they become public figures.

I really don't know what they expected outside of this. When a person becomes famous people who were usually the assholes and bitches who told them that they couldn't do something are usually the first ones to turn around and try to be friends with them. Which honestly just makes that person a piece of shit.

The part where he says you were just about as bad as me mostly speaks about how both parties were at fault and not one party was to blame which is a pretty adult thing to do. He's pretty much saying, "Look, I know we both did some pretty stupid shit but that doesn't really matter now."

Chorus Breakdown
The chorus of this song speaks about the mistakes that he made since he's still learning. He feels like a he's a child at times and that no one seems to understand that people make stupid mistakes. Which is a pretty decent thing to say. We all have times where we make pretty stupid decisions and when we make those choices people seems to forget the times they made a mistake and tell you how stupid you were. Although not everyone actually does this but it's a pretty common thing to happen in the real world.

The second part is when he's asking for someone to confide in that he needs someone to talk to which is usually something people do when they get upset. However when he tries to leave the person is asking them to stay with them. Which tends to happen when someone is worried about another person which when you confide in someone is what tends to happen.

Although the whole "I'll get inside" thing is just filled with creepsville I mean seriously it really doesn't hold that much meaning other than sounding like you're trying to get into someones pants. Sorry Adema but that's just one thing I can't get past is how much it makes you all sound like creepers.

Verse 2 Breakdown
The second verse goes into how even though he's famous he doesn't want things to change for him. That he's proud of what he's accomplished and that he feels people should be happy for him; this isn't really much to ask for but in life there will always be people unhappy that you're living out your dreams it happens. Then it goes into the fact that he misses his old life a bit. Which is completely understandable, when things change you tend to want some of the things that you used to have back. It's apart of being human. Makes you seem a bit selfish but we all do it.

The second part of this verse is pretty straight forwards he is telling people that they whould live out their dreams and not let things get in their way. Which is coming from a public figure usually means more to someone than when people like your parents do it. I really don't understand why that is but that's the way it is. Then again I can't really understand why people have public figures as role-models either.

Bridge Breakdown
The Bridge is extremely straight forwards where he's pretty much just thowing the fact that he made it in the faces of all the people who said he wouldn't. Honestly I've done this myself but it doesn't make you look like any less of a dick than the person who was telling you that you wouldn't make it.

I only now realize you did one of these before the other lyrical break down of...who was it? Oh right, Chris Brown.

Just as funny as the other one. And in this one you actually made it easier to tell what it was you were commenting on due to the lyrics and breakdown being seperate, though I did like how you did it with Chris Brown's version. Still fun and nice. Do more.!
