A dark and windy night...
Two guards were standing outside of the gated area of Yggdrasil. Due to the sensitive equipment inside, they were tasked by the TPD to make sure no civilians got in under any circumstances. There was a fierce wind that night. But otherwise, it was no different from any other. That's when it happened. A flash of red. A bright light that seemed to form from nowhere. Then the screams. Then silence. Silence except for the click clak of heels. The figure looked back to the destruction they caused. The seductive blue eyes looked almost playful as they whipped their red hair from their eyes. "They make this too easy..." The figure silently strode into the generator building.

Re: A dark and windy night...
A police barricade had been set up around the area. Shortly after the call, Max and Ken arrived on the scene. They saw the two guards on the ground. The only sign of injury on their entire bodies was a cut across the throat.
"Same MO indeed...but why kill two random guards. And it doesn't look like they left any messages this time," Max observed as he examined the area.
"No sign of forced entry....so they just strolled in?" Ken was trying to figure out what happened. Max turned and looked inside the structure.
"Let's head inside." Ken nodded and they went in. The entire way they had their weapons at the ready and snuck along the darkened corridors. "Someone turned out the lights," was all Max said as they entered.
After 10 minutes of silent moving they arrived at the control room. Ken sensed to see if anyone was inside. "There's no one in there Max." Max shot Ken a look.
"You know that can't be right. Let's go." Max kicked the door in and drew his hypersonic blade. As he scanned the room he saw Ken was right. The room was practically untouched. Ken ran over to the computer and started hitting some buttons and checking the systems. Max scanned the ceiling to see if he could find anyone hidden among the rafters.
The only sound was the humming of the engine. That's when a bright light shined in the room. Max and Ken both shielded their eyes as they heard the clattering of heels running off. Max ran through the light after the noise. He eventually was led through hallway after hallway until he reached the roof.
On top of the roof he saw a hooded figure standing at the edge of the roof. Max smiled. "End of the line, criminal." The figure turned and Max caught a smile coming from their face. Before he could react he heard an engine start.
Suddenly from right next to her was a helicopter that had just uncloaked. How did they get that thing up here?!
"I believe it's the end of the line for you SNAKE." She held her hand up and a bright light shot at Max. As it hit his upraised arm he felt as if his flesh was burning as it swept over him and his face. He screamed and could only watch as the helicopter flew off with the target.
He called out to Ken who had finally caught up. "Ken! Get the police after that copter!' Ken nodded and ran off. Max watched as it disappeared into the skyline of the city and the rising sun.

Re: A dark and windy night...
Ken had run off to the barricade where the police had already begun the preparations to chase after the helicopter. Ken jumped into the nearest police car and it took to the skies. Three cars altogether were chasing after the helicopter through the rising sun.
The helicopter was fast, but the cars were designed with engines similar to a jet to speed after criminals if necessary. The police cars were slowly catching up, dodging building after building as the helicopter tried to lose them through the mess of the city. As the helicopter came into focus, Ken noticed the side door open and a figure stuck their head out.
Ken opened the sun roof on the police cruiser and prepared for a fight. He saw his opponent create a small ball of light that they threw at him. In reaction, Ken created a wall of psychic energy to block the attack. Turning his shield into small blades, shot them towards the blades of the chopper.
Seeing what he was trying to do, the figure threw their hands up and created a huge wall of light. Ken noticed the nearby buildings seemed to suddenly go dark all at once. They're sucking the light from nearby...
The wall of light then shot back towards Ken and the police cruisers. The one Ken was in veered to the right, but the other two were hit and Ken could only hear as they were smashed into the ground. As Ken's car caught up, he prepared another wave of knives.
He noticed the figure duck back in, and that's when the helicopter flipped around. Traveling backwards, Ken saw it had rail guns attached around its wings. Before Ken could react, the guns fired. The windshield of the car exploded and the officers inside were killed instantly. The car spun out of control and was diving towards the ground.
Ushering in as much strength as he could, Ken surrounded himself with psychic energy to make himself float slightly in the air. The car hit the ground beneath him and exploded. The explosion caused Ken to fly back and smash through a nearby building's window.
Meanwhile, back at the helicopter the figure sat down in the cockpit and turned towards her accomplice. "That was fun...I haven't had a good fight in a while."
The pilot turned towards her and had a huge grin. "So you set the plan in motion?" She nodded.
"2 days. That's all I could do before they found the bodies." The pilot waved her off. He turned his attention back towards the ocean as they were nearing it.
"Two days is all we need...." The helicopter flew off away from the city. Heading for its mysterious destination.
